Kavalan Distillery marks its 20th anniversary in 2025 with the release of three limited edition gift sets celebrating Taiwan’s natural heritage. Each set pairs the distillery’s acclaimed single malt expressions with a signature Kavalan nosing glass.
The collection features the Solist Vinho Barrique Single Cask Strength, Triple Sherry Cask, and Concertmaster Vinho Barrique Cask Finish, with packaging designs incorporating native Taiwanese wildlife and flowers.
The Kavalan 2025 Gift Sets
The Solist Vinho Barrique, bottled at 50-59.9% ABV, comes in a golden box adorned with Taiwan’s blue magpie and peonies. The whisky showcases the distillery’s innovative STR (shaved, toasted, re-charred) barrel technology, delivering notes of melon, caramel, and dark chocolate.

READ THE STORYThe Triple Sherry Cask, matured in Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Moscatel sherry casks, features peach blossoms and broad-tailed swallowtail butterflies on its red packaging. Rich berry and dried fruit aromas lead to a warm, spiced palate with candied fruit, caramel and honey finish.
The blue-boxed Concertmaster Vinho Barrique Cask Finish completes the trio with imagery of the Formosan landlocked salmon and plum blossoms. This caramel-hued whisky offers tropical fruits, vanilla, and raisins, with a silky palate of melon and white chocolate sweetness.
