1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Whiskey Wash website (“the Website”), you confirm that you have read and understood these terms, are of legal age to enter into this agreement, and agree to be bound by them.

2. Website Content & Comparison Tool

• The Website provides news, reviews, articles, stories, and a comparison tool related to whisky. The content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute advice.
• The comparison tool allows users to search for whisky bottles and find the lowest prices offered by various retailers.
• The Whiskey Wash does not guarantee the accuracy of the prices displayed. Prices may change frequently, and errors may occur in the data collection process.
• The Whiskey Wash is not responsible for any inaccuracies in pricing or product information provided by retailers.
• Users must confirm the price and product details on the retailer’s website before making a purchase.
• Users must be of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction to use the comparison tool and purchase alcohol. The Whiskey Wash does not accept any liability for underage drinking or purchases.
• The Whiskey Wash operates in a changing regulatory and technological environment; accordingly, these Terms of Use may be amended from time to time.
• Continued use of the Website will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.
• The Whiskey Wash reserves the right to remove all or a portion of any collected listings to ensure that the data is accurate and correct.

• The Whiskey Wash does not guarantee the accuracy of the prices displayed. Prices may change frequently, and errors may occur in the data collection process.

3. User Accounts

• Users may create accounts on the Website, but it is not required for general use.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account password.
• You will remain responsible for all activity emanating from your account, whether or not such activity was authorized by you.
• If your username or password is lost or stolen, or if you believe that your account has been accessed by unauthorized third parties, you must notify The Whiskey Wash immediately and change your password at the earliest possible opportunity.  
• The Whiskey Wash reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if activities occur on that account that, at The Whiskey Wash’s sole discretion, constitute a violation of these Terms or a violation of the rights of any third party, or of any applicable laws or regulations.  
• Deleting an account is a permanent action and removes all personal information from The Whiskey Wash.

• You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Website by, any third party.  
• You must not use the Website to transmit or distribute any material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.  
• You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or interfere with its operation.
• You may not damage, interfere with, or harm the Website, its search functions, or any network or system underlying or connected to it.
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, tamper with, or bypass any security associated with the Website.
• You may not copy, redistribute, or display any part of the Website’s content that infringes intellectual property rights.

• You will not artificially increase ratings, reviews, or counts by manipulating the Website.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Whiskey Wash makes no promises, guarantees, representations, or warranties of any kind whatsoever (express or implied) regarding the Website or any part thereof, any content, or any linked other external services.

• The Whiskey Wash makes no representation nor does it warrant that a product listed is in stock, or that the price of a product is the same as that shown on the Website.  

7. Limitation of Liability

• To the full extent permitted by law, your sole and exclusive remedy for any problems or dissatisfaction with the Website is to stop using the Website.
• The Whiskey Wash and its subsidiaries, affiliates, successors and their respective employees, agents, directors, officers, and shareholders, shall have no liability for any loss or damage arising from: your inability to access or use the Website or any part thereof, or to access any content or any external services; any changes that The Whiskey Wash may make to the Website or any part thereof, or any suspension or blocking of access to the Website or any content; any inaccuracy or defect in any content on the Website; any loss of business or profits, whether direct or indirect, in all cases arising out of the use or inability to use the Website.

8. Term and Termination

• This Agreement will continue to apply until terminated by either you or The Whiskey Wash.
• You may terminate this Agreement at any time by ceasing to use the Website and, if applicable, deleting your account.
• The Whiskey Wash may, at its discretion, terminate or suspend your access to the Website at any time without notice.

9. Changes to Terms

• The Whiskey Wash reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Use.
