Tobermory Distillery has promoted a four-whisky collection for Christmas 2026, spanning its unpeated Tobermory and peated Ledaig house styles. The range runs from the core Tobermory 12 Year Old to limited editions from The Lores of Mull series, with bottles priced from £47 to £90 (US$63 to US$121).
Based on the Isle of Mull, Tobermory is one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, having produced whisky on the island since 1798.
The distillery makes two distinct single malts under one roof. Tobermory is rich, fruity and unpeated, while Ledaig is peated, smoky and more robust.

The Tobermory 12 Year Old leads the range at £47 (US$63). The distillery describes it as its signature single malt and “the natural starting point for the range.” It is the most accessible expression in the collection and is positioned as an introduction to Tobermory’s fruitier house style.
Next is The Whispers of Burg, a 13-year-old Tobermory from The Lores of Mull series, priced at £90 (US$121). The distillery said it is “inspired by the fairy mound hidden among the ancient hills of Burg and the folklore surrounding its unseen guardians.”
The expression is finished in Amontillado Sherry casks and bottled at 55.6% ABV. According to the official notes from the brand, it brings together honey, nuts and gentle spice, with black liquorice, citrus, toasted oats, vanilla and orange marmalade.

READ THE STORYBan-fhàidh’s Rebirth takes the Lores collection into Ledaig’s smokier territory at £70 (US$94). The distillery said it is “inspired by the story of an ancient seeress whose renewal in the waters of Loch Bà marks the changing of the seasons.”
The whisky combines Ledaig matured in Bolgheri wine casks with spirit matured in Spanish Brandy casks. Bottled at 57.6% ABV, the official notes from the brand cite Hebridean smoke, dark fruit, warming spice, chocolate, roasted coffee and toasted oak.
Both Lores releases are presented in illustrated packaging inspired by the folklore behind each whisky.
Completing the line-up is Ledaig Castaway at £65 (US$87). The release marks the first marriage of rum and Tequila cask maturation for the brand, adding what the distillery calls “exotic depth” to Ledaig’s peated profile.
