Skrewball Whiskey has brought back its 100ml can format for its peanut butter-flavored American whiskey. The single-serve cans, which feature a refreshed design, are now available nationwide across the United States and online.

According to the brand, the initial launch of the 100ml format sold out immediately, delivering 24,000 nine-liter cases in record time.

Each 100ml can is bottled at 35% ABV (70 proof) and has a suggested retail price of $3.99.

The company states the portable format contains two servings of the whiskey.

“Skrewball has always been about bringing bold, unexpected flavor to life’s best moments,” said Gary Feeney, brand director at Skrewball Whiskey.

“Our 100ml cans prove that the best things really do come in small packages – two servings of smooth peanut butter whiskey perfection, ready to go anywhere,” he continued.

Feeney added: “Toss them in your cooler, bring them to parties, or just keep a few on hand for when the occasion calls for something deliciously different. They’re a little nutty, a lot flavorful, and guaranteed to turn any moment into a celebration.”

Skrewball was founded in San Diego by Steven Yeng, a Cambodian refugee, and his wife, Brittany Yeng.

French drinks group Pernod Ricard acquired a majority stake in the company in March 2023.

The acquisition was part of Pernod Ricard’s strategy to strengthen its position in the American whiskey category and capitalize on the significant growth of flavored expressions in the US market.

The re-release in a single-serve format aligns with the wider industry trend toward convenience and trial-size packaging, which helps brands reach new consumers in off-premise channels.

The product is available to purchase from the official Skrewball Whiskey website.
