Pursuit Spirits Brings Award-Winning Portfolio to International Markets
Pursuit Spirits, the whiskey brand created by the team behind the Bourbon Pursuit podcast, announced on October 7 its expansion into the United Kingdom and European Union markets. The expansion marks the brand’s first international distribution agreement. European whiskey enthusiasts can now purchase three different expressions from the Pursuit United line, ranging from 88 proof to barrel proof offerings.

READ THE STORY“We don’t see problems, only solutions, and for years, our listeners in the UK and Europe have been asking how to get their hands on our whiskey,” said Kenny Coleman, Co-Founder and COO of Pursuit Spirits. “This isn’t just about putting a bottle on a shelf; it’s about sharing our journey and building real community through honest, exceptional whiskey.”
Pursuit Spirits Launches Three Expression Tiers for European Debut
The initial European launch includes Pursuit United Bourbon and Rye at 88 proof, designed as an accessible entry point for whiskey drinkers. The company also released its Double Oaked Bourbon and Rye expressions at 108 proof, featuring triple mash blends. A limited allocation of barrel proof bourbon and rye will be available for enthusiasts seeking cask-strength options.
Ryan Cecil, Master Blender and CEO, explained the year-long development process behind creating different proof points for various consumer preferences.
“Our products are built on partnerships, not simply sourcing, uniting the best characteristics from different distilleries to create something truly exceptional that won’t be like anything else on the shelf,” explained Cecil.
The expansion follows growing demand from the brand’s international podcast audience. Pursuit Spirits operates two Louisville locations, including a distillery experience center on Mellwood Avenue and a Whiskey Row venue featuring barrel selection opportunities and a cocktail lounge.
