Big Easy Whiskey Brings New Orleans' Flavour to 46 States
Big Easy Whiskey has launched nationwide with home delivery to 46 states

Big Easy Spirits Company (BESCO) has expanded distribution of its Big Easy Whiskey from Louisiana retail stores to nationwide home delivery across 46 U.S. states. The New Orleans-based company launched the whiskey earlier this year and now offers direct-to-consumer shipping through www.bigeasywhiskey.com.

The flavored whiskey starts with a 5-year straight whiskey made from a traditional bourbon mash bill of 81% corn, 15% rye, and 4% barley.

The whiskey is distilled in Kentucky and Indiana before aging for five years in used bourbon barrels. Master Blender Kieran Walsh infuses the aged whiskey with over two dozen herbs, spices, and fruit, including vanilla, clove, and citrus.

“Big Easy Whiskey is the best of New Orleans in a bottle,” says Walsh, who also serves as COO. “We’ve crafted a whiskey that’s delicious on its own, or over ice. The ‘Easy Over Ice’ campaign highlights the brand’s spirit of no complications, no fuss, just good drinks from the first sip to the last.”

According to the official tasting notes from the brand, the whiskey offers toasty American whiskey aromas with baking spices, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice on the nose. Complex Amaro-like herbal notes of cedar and lemon balm appear on the palate.

Big Easy Whiskey retails for $34.99 per 750ml bottle at 43% ABV (86 proof). The company positions itself as New Orleans’ first modern spirits supplier, founded by distilled spirits industry veterans.

BESCO created the whiskey to “put the whiskey back in flavored whiskey,” according to company materials, aiming to elevate the flavored whiskey category beyond regional novelty products.

The whiskey’s natural infusions are designed to enhance rather than mask the base whiskey’s flavor profile, honoring New Orleans’ cocktail heritage while offering versatility for both neat sipping and mixed drinks.
