Kavalan Distillery, Taiwan’s pioneering whisky maker, is launching its first-ever age-statement expression in 2025. The limited edition 15 year old single malt commemorates a historic milestone in Asian whisky production.

Only 30,000 bottles will be available globally, representing some of the distillery’s rarest ultra-aged stock produced in Taiwan’s challenging subtropical climate.
“We wanted to achieve extraordinary depth and balance with multiple layers of complexity befitting of a high-age statement whisky,” said CEO Mr YT Lee. “So we created a formula based on a four-cask maturation that would maximize the characteristics of each cask and achieve a rich harmony in the final product.”

The packaging design reinforces this complexity through natural wood grain patterns symbolizing depth and maturity. Textured oak elements represent the four distinct cask types, while a gold-foiled Kavalan logo adds a luxury touch appropriate for this premium offering..
The Kavalan 15 Years Old Single Malt Whisky 2025 Edition will be available through official Kavalan channels in Taiwan, including the Kavalan Distillery Shop, Kavalan Whisky shops, Kavalan Whisky Bar, and select local liquor stores. International availability details are expected to follow.
