Glen Moray has announced its continued partnership with the ISPS Handa Senior Open Championship, Europe’s only senior major, through 2026. The Speyside distillery first joined forces with the prestigious golf tournament in 2024.

Glen Moray Showcases Whisky Portfolio at Championship

The 2025 ISPS Handa Senior Open Championship at Sunningdale attracted 24,000 spectators who witnessed world-class golf from players aged 50 and over. The distillery created an elevated whisky experience in the Championship Village, featuring single malts from its Explorer, Heritage, Xperience, and Warehouse 1 collections.

“We’re proud to continue our partnership with The ISPS Handa Senior Open as the Official Whisky – a collaboration that celebrates the shared spirit of tradition, skill, and enjoyment at the heart of both Glen Moray and the game of golf,” said Iain Allan, Global Brand Ambassador for Glen Moray.

“At Glen Moray, we’ve been perfecting Speyside single malts for over 125 years. Like golf, our whisky is about passion, patience, and bringing people together. This partnership is a toast to those connections – on the course, at the clubhouse, and wherever great moments are shared.”

The distillery offered tastings, hospitality, and a chipping challenge for spectators. A new highball menu was introduced to complement the traditional whisky offerings.

Glen Moray Launches Golf Documentary Series

Glen Moray debuted “A Classic Round with…,” a film series featuring conversations with notable golf figures. The first episode showcased Iain Allan speaking with Sunningdale caddie Rorrie Brown. American professional golfer Mario S. Tiziani, who competed at the Senior Open, appeared in another episode.

The partnership highlights the connection between Scotland’s national spirit and sport, with both industries sharing values of tradition, excellence, and craftsmanship. Additional episodes are planned for the documentary series.
