Barrell Craft Spirits will release 300 bottles of Hazmat Triple Rum Cask Finish Whiskey online October 14 at 10am ET, priced at $199.99.

The limited-edition whiskey blends spirits from Indiana, Tennessee, and Canada, with some barrels aged up to 25 years. Each component whiskey was finished separately in rum casks from Jamaica, Barbados, or St. Lucia before being blended at 142.24 proof in Kentucky.

The release will be available through the company’s website, with distribution to retail stores following.

According to the brand’s official tasting notes, the whiskey features “rummy esters” with aromas of orange flower water, buttercup and vanilla on the nose. The palate reveals matcha, rosehip and clove, with flavors of fresh sugarcane and molasses.

The finish presents “rich pina colada” balanced by limestone and salt notes.

BCS also announced availability of its first Bourbon Infinity Single Barrel, which debuted at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival last month.

The $99.99 release blends samples from 50 bourbon barrels aged 8 to 20 years.

The Infinity Single Barrel is available exclusively online and will not be distributed to retail stores.

Official tasting notes for the Infinity Single Barrel describe milk chocolate and cardamom on the nose, with a palate of chai latte and malted chocolate. The finish features cocoa powder and lemongrass.

The Hazmat release continues BCS’s series of high-proof, rum cask-finished whiskeys. Previous releases in the series have also featured triple-digit bottle counts and premium pricing.
