The release features notes of shortbread and orange marmalade on the nose, while the palate presents peanut brittle, glazed lemon cake, and warming spices including cinnamon and cardamom. The finish transitions from sweet to dry with lasting complexity, complemented by subtle notes of lightly roasted coffee.

ORIGINS Series Legacy
The ORIGINS Series traces back to 2011 when Laws marked 28 initial barrels with the word “ORIGINS.” These barrels, supported by early friends and family investors, helped establish the distillery’s foundation and set the standard for their future releases.
The series launched publicly in December 2020 with Barrel #9, which represented the oldest whiskey released by Laws at that time. This was followed by ORIGINS Series X in 2021, crafted from the final three barrels of the original ORIGINS batch. The distillery continued the tradition with INTENTIONS in 2022 and CORNERSTONE in 2023, each release showcasing the evolution of Laws’ craft distilling approach.
