Jura One And All a New 20-Year-Old Scotch Whisky

The Jura distillery in Scotland is known for putting out Scotch whiskies that are often themed in nature, such as their 1984 bottling. Their most recent exploration in this area is One And All, a two decades old bottling described as being a celebration of those who live on Jura, including the team of distillery workers who craft it.

Jura One And All, according to those behind it, is a 20-year-old Scotch whisky that was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and specially prepared with Jura aged in sherry wood, sparkling cabernet franc casks,  cabernet sauvignon casks and pinot noir barriques. It is non-chill filtered, of natural color, and was bottled at a cask strength of 51% ABV.

“There’s no better way to mark the distillery team’s dedication and craftsmanship,” said Jura distillery manager Graham Logan in a prepared statement, “than by creating a limited-edition expression in their honour – chosen by them. In tribute to their passion and tenacity – the shared spirit that each person brings to every last drop – this special whisky is the perfect dram to toast one and all. We can’t wait to hear what people think.”

Plans call for this 5,000 bottles of this whisky to be made available this month for around £120, or about $160 USD. You’ll find limited official tasting notes below.
