Starlight Distillery Releases Dana Huber Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon

Starlight Distillery has announced the release of a new limited small-batch Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon, personally curated by Dana Huber. The expression, which draws from seven years of production experience and a six-month barrel selection process, will be available in limited quantities starting summer 2026.

Huber has worked alongside her husband and sons to guide the growth of the Indiana-based distillery. This release marks the first bourbon to carry her personal signature.

"This Bottled in Bond release is the result of a long journey," said Dana Huber. "It’s built on years of working together—understanding our mash bills, studying the influence of different barrel types and cooperages, and spending time in production as the distillate moves through our stills."

"I wanted to be certain that when my name was placed on this bottle, it stood for something meaningful—something I believe in completely," she added.

The final composition was shaped during an intensive six-month selection period. Huber personally evaluated and hand-selected just ten barrels, each chosen for its unique character and contribution to the final blend.

More than 85% of the grains used in the bourbon are grown on the family’s estate in Starlight, Indiana, in keeping with the distillery’s farm-to-glass philosophy.

Official tasting notes from the brand describe the bourbon as offering "a balanced, fruit forward nose which leads to integrated tannins on the palate. Vanilla and spice undertones compliment the stone fruit creating an elegant expression at 100 proof."

"This is a very small release, but it carries a great deal of meaning," Huber said. "It represents years of patience, dedication, and love for what we do. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created and grateful to share it."

Starlight Distillery operates from its family property at 19816 Huber Road in Borden, Indiana. The distillery is part of the Huber family’s broader farming and winemaking operation, which has roots in the region dating back multiple generations. The family has become known for its commitment to estate-grown ingredients and vertically integrated production.

The new Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon will be available on the distillery’s website, at the distillery itself, and at select retailers beginning summer 2026. Pricing was not disclosed at the time of the announcement.
