Tasting Notes

About:

92.2 Proof, 46.1% ABV, Bottle No. 02089, Batch 0321, 750ml, $57
Appearance:
Light golden caramel, no legs to speak of.
Nose:
Sweet banana and bubblegum pop up right away, moving into a fresh pastry finish.
Palate:
Thin in texture. A very similar experience to the nose with a sweeter start of banana muffins. The sweetness becomes less pronounced as it moves back, more like whole grain bread. A very small touch of spiciness pops just before the end. Very quick finish.

Comments:
This whiskey is perfectly fine. It has a fairly mild taste and nothing particularly unique or mindblowing about it. The price point is a little high for what it has to offer, which gives me some pause in regards to recommending it.rn
