High West Distillery has unveiled its latest innovation, The Noble Share, marking a historic first-time collaboration with luxury tequila producer Casa Noble.
The Noble Share
The Noble Share features High West’s signature rye whiskeys aged between 4 and 10 years, finished in Marques de Casa Noble añejo tequila barrels for six months. The blend incorporates spirits from both MGP (95% rye, 5% malted barley) and High West Distillery’s own rye (80% rye, 20% malted rye).
Adding further complexity, a portion of the blend undergoes additional finishing in medium-toast Amburana barrels. This innovative approach showcases both distilleries’ commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional spirit-making while honoring their respective heritage.

Together, these barrels create a richly textured, harmonious expression that celebrates the artistry of blending.”
Casa Noble’s founder Pepe Hermosillo emphasized the groundbreaking nature of the collaboration: “This partnership allowed us to push boundaries, merging the richness of aged tequila with the spice-forward character of High West rye. The result is a whiskey with layers of flavor that tell a story of innovation and respect for tradition.”
