Elvis’ Famous Peanut Butter, Bacon, Banana Snack Now A Whiskey, Sort Of

Grain & Barrel’s Elvis Whiskey brand recently launched a new peanut butter, banana and bacon-flavored whiskey, called “Midnight Snack.”

A statement from the whiskey brand notes that this is inspired by the rock ‘n’ roll icon’s favorite decadent sandwich, something Elvis Presley often at late at night …  the peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich.

The distiller noted that this flavored whiskey features the flavor combination of sweet, savory, salty and smoky.

Grain & Barrel Founder Matti Anttila said that Elvis is one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century and continues to inspire his fans today, as seen by the success of the recent Elvis movie, both in its box office numbers and awards.

“To sip, or shoot, flavored whiskeys are continuing to grow in popularity, with flavored whiskey growing 19 percent and peanut butter flavored whiskey growing 200 percent in the United States, leaving our team especially excited to introduce ‘Midnight Snack’ to our growing portfolio of Elvis-inspired whiskeys,” Anttila added.

Elvis Midnight Snack clocks in at 70 proof and has a suggested retail price of $34.99. It’s available in stores nationwide, as well as online at Caskers.com and ReserveBar.com.

In 2021, Grain & Barrel Spirits entered a long-term licensing agreement with Elvis Presley Enterprises to launch Elvis Presley-themed whiskeys. The whiskeys were sourced and blended by a team of whiskey experts and bottled in Tennessee, where Elvis began his career and called home.

This is the third product to come from Elvis Whiskey, joining Elvis “Tiger Man” Tennessee Straight Whiskey and Elvis “The King” Tennessee Straight Rye Whiskey.
