Tasting Notes

About:

Roseisle Harmonic Grace is a limited edition 14 Year Old and one of eight whiskies in Diageo’s Special Releases 2025. Aged in refill and rejuvenated casks and bottled at 55.9%.
Appearance:
Medium gold with prominent legs around the glass.
Nose:
Rich with oak, earth, and tea leaf upfront. A sweetness like caramel toffees. Red apples and vanilla. Woody spice with cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper.
Palate:
Medium mouthfeel. Rich and intriguing. Again those earthy oak notes. Candied orange peel, or marmalade. Apple Tarte Tatin with vanilla cream. Woody spice with a good dose of black pepper. A minty note towards the back.
Finish:
Medium. Mint lingers together with orange, apple, caramel, and pepper.
Comments:
An interesting combination of flavours in this seldom-seen single malt (the vast majority of Roseile being used in Johnnie Walker blends).
