Tasting Notes

About:

100% Irish malted barley, triple distilled, natural colour and non-chill filtered. This whiskey has ben matured in the classic combination of ex-oloroso and ex-bourbon casks before being vatted together.
Appearance:
Burnt Orange
Nose:
Jammy! Lots of plums, strawberry and cherries. Jam doughnuts, white chocolate, sugar crystals, vanilla and espresso.
Palate:
Dark chocolate, cherries, coffee, vanilla and vanilla frosting. A sweeter style on the palate but has those nice, butter coffee notes and tart cherries to cut through it.
Finish:
Espresso, dark chocolate, hazelnuts, jammy fruits, cherries, warm oak, and a very long finish.
Comments:
This is a really nice Irish single malt. A delicious, jammy, fruity, creamy, chocolate and espresso driven style with a classic sweet Irish palate.
