
Whisky Live Paris 2025 welcomed a record setting 15,000 visitors from September 28-29, featuring over 2,000 products including 25% world premieres across multiple spirits categories.
The 21st edition showcased significant growth in the French Drinks Awards, expanding from two categories in 2024 to 13 in 2025. The awards now encompass rum, cognac, armagnac, gin, whisky, ready-to-drink products, and vermouth, evaluating 425 products total.
A new Pavillon France dominated the Plateau Dégustation, bringing together 57 French producers. This dedicated space highlighted domestic expertise alongside international brands.
The Plateau Dégustation hosted 128 brands and distilleries total. Scottish representation included Glen Moray, Aberlour, Ardbeg, Glenfiddich, and Johnnie Walker. Japanese whisky featured prominently with Nikka Whisky and House of Suntory.
American whiskey was represented by Heaven Hill and Elijah Craig. Irish whiskey brands included Element Irish Whiskey and Teeling.
The 1,500-square-meter Rum Gallery featured 34 distilleries including Neisson, Takamaka, Zacapa, and Havana Club Iconica.
The Agave Patio returned for its second year with brands like Don Julio and Herradura offering guided tastings.
Gin Lane underwent a complete redesign, hosting 22 brands including Citadelle, Hendrick’s, and Distillerie du Mont-Blanc.
The Saké District expanded to 400 square meters with 13 Japanese breweries. The space hosted the inaugural Saké Master 2025 competition, won by Chloé Cazaux Grandpierre, founder of Oba restaurant.
World premieres included Stade’s Rum and a preview of Gordon & MacPhail’s oldest single malt, both launched in the Boris Vian Amphitheatre.
The VIP area offered limited editions and independent bottlings. Collector Square featured a Karuizawa Tasting Bar with 30 rare expressions from the closed Japanese distillery.
Cocktail Street operated alongside the main event, featuring nearly 50 pop-up bars. Nikka Whisky recreated Kyoto’s Bee’s Knees bar, bringing the Japanese team to Paris.
The new Accords Parfaits space paired spirits with dishes from guest chefs Thomas Chisholm, Wilfried Romain, and Adrien Cachot.
Golden Promise Week continues through October 2, offering 1,000 rare spirits at 50% discounts at the Golden Promise Whisky Bar.
