Sammy's Beach Bar Rum Expands to NY, NJ & Wisconsin

Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, the celebrity-founded spirits brand backed by rock legends Sammy Hagar and Rick Springfield, has expanded its distribution footprint into New York, New Jersey and Wisconsin. The expansion adds three new markets to the brand’s existing availability in California, Illinois, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas and Canada.

The move reflects continued momentum for the craft rum portfolio as demand grows for premium, approachable spirits without additives and with strong consumer recognition.

In northern New Jersey, Kohler Distributing now offers the complete Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum lineup across Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex and Union counties.

New York Wine & Spirits (Manhattan Beer) has added the full portfolio in New York City, distributing across 14 counties covering all five boroughs and increasing availability for both on- and off-premise accounts.

In Wisconsin, Capitol-Husting Distributors now represents the brand statewide and has secured a retail authorization with Festival Foods, a leading Midwest grocery chain. Beginning in March, Sammy’s Beach Bar Kola Spiced Rum and Red Head will be available in 42 Festival Foods locations across the state.

“Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum is all about bringing the spirit of the beach wherever you are,” said Hagar. “We’re excited to grow our presence in these markets and give more people the chance to enjoy great rum, whether they’re discovering it for the first time or are a longtime fan.”

“We’re hitting New York, New Jersey and the Midwest, where I have a lot of family who can now get Beach Bar Rum and stay warm and toasty when it’s cold outside, and sip fun party drinks when summer comes like we do in Cali,” said Rick Springfield. “This rum is amazing, and I can’t wait for the uninitiated to try it.”

The full portfolio is also available for purchase online at sammysbeachbarrum.com, providing nationwide consumer access.

Made with all-natural ingredients and distilled four times, the portfolio includes Platinum Rum; Kola Spiced Rum, featuring official notes from the brand of vanilla and coffee; and Red Head, infused with macadamia nuts and layered with tropical character.

Hagar will take Beach Bar Rum on the road this summer with the return of his “Best of All Worlds Tour.” The stateside leg features Springfield as a special guest and runs Saturday, June 13 through Saturday, June 27, with stops in New Jersey, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Maryland and Massachusetts. Tickets are available at RedRocker.com.

The brand also supports nonprofit organizations dedicated to beach and ocean preservation.
