Independent Scottish distiller Loch Lomond Group has released a curated Father’s Day selection featuring four single malt whiskies from its Loch Lomond Whiskies and Glen Scotia brands. The collection spans a price range from £45 to £90 and is available now through the brands’ websites and specialist retailers.
The headline bottling is The Open Special Edition 2026, priced at £45 at 46% ABV. Created to mark the 154th Open at Royal Birkdale this July, it continues Loch Lomond Whiskies’ role as the official Spirit of The Open since 2018.
The expression was matured initially in American oak before a six-month finish in Argentinian Malbec casks. Official tasting notes from the brand describe “rich dark berries, vibrant red fruits and gentle spice.”

Also featured is the Loch Lomond 18 Year Old, priced from £90 at 46% ABV. The whisky is aged in three types of American oak casks and is bottled non-chill-filtered. It most recently received a Gold Outstanding Medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2025.
Official tasting notes from the brand cite “luscious notes of baked apple and rich toffee, finished with a gentle whisper of wood smoke.”
From the Glen Scotia range, the Glen Scotia 12 Year Old is priced at £45 at 46% ABV. Matured in first-fill bourbon casks, it is the Campbeltown distillery’s flagship expression. The brand’s official tasting notes highlight “tropical fruit and coastal sea spray” alongside “citrus and caramelised sugar.”
