Bottled-in-Bond Legacy For Premium Whiskey
Each decanter of Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond includes a tax strip that discloses production and bottling dates, maintaining the transparency that defines authentic bottled-in-bond products. To meet the bottled-in-bond criteria the whiskey must be produced at a single distillery during one distilling season, aged for at least four years, and bottled at precisely 100 proof (50% ABV). This certification was established by the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 and remains a mark of authenticity and quality in American whiskey.
Whiskey collectors and enthusiasts should expect the Spring 2025 edition to reach store shelves in the coming weeks with a suggested retail price of $129.99. As with previous releases in this series, availability will be limited through allocated distribution.
The Spring 2025 release promises a sensory experience that bourbon enthusiasts are sure to appreciate if previous tasting notes are anything to go by. The official tasting notes for the Spring 2025 release explains that drinkers can expect a bright copper color and offers aromas of apple pie with emphasis on the crust. Tasting notes include classic bourbon flavors of vanilla and butterscotch that lead into toasted cereal with apple pie spices. The finish delivers a creamy, viscous mouthfeel with baked apples fading to oak and cinnamon spices.
