Good Bottle Auctions has launched its Pink October campaign, pledging to donate $1 to the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation (TBBCF) for every bottle consigned during October 2026. The Connecticut-based auction house, located in Plantsville, has also turned its website pink for the duration of the month.

“We’ve gone pink for October because everyone has someone they love whose life has been touched by cancer: a mother, father, sister, brother, child or friend,” said Robin Sousa of Good Bottle Auctions.

Sousa added: “So, let’s get together and go pink. Our consignors already trust us with bottles they’ve spent years building. This month, every one of those bottles also helps fund cancer research.”

The $1 donation applies to any bottle consigned with the company throughout October. And the contribution comes at no cost to the consignor.

The auction house selected TBBCF for its local ties and its funding model.

“We chose the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation because it’s local to us, and because it gives 100 percent of contributions directly to research,” Sousa said.

She continued: “By choosing a local partner, we can give back to the community we live in while making a nationwide impact on finding a cure for this disease.”

Collectors can begin a consignment through the company’s online appraisal form.

The campaign coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, marked globally each October. The pink ribbon has served as the international symbol of breast cancer awareness since the early 1990s, with campaigns running throughout the month to raise funds and promote early detection.

The TBBCF, based in Connecticut, is a volunteer-led organization. It states that all funds raised are directed toward breast cancer research grants.

The initiative reflects a wider trend of drinks industry businesses using seasonal campaigns to support charitable causes. Auction houses and spirits producers alike frequently align fundraising drives with awareness months to engage collectors and consumers.

More information is available via the Good Bottle Auctions website. Good Bottle Auctions said the final total will be announced and donated by mid-November.
