Glenfiddich, the Speyside single malt Scotch whisky brand, has unveiled a bold new visual identity and packaging design for its portfolio. The refreshed look, set to roll out globally from April 2026, is designed to honor the brand’s 139-year history while reinforcing its position as a luxury icon.

“With Glenfiddich’s design evolution, we are pleased to reveal a refreshed look that honors the past of this 139-year-old whisky while celebrating a timeless modernity,” said Will Peacock, global brand managing director at William Grant & Sons.

Peacock added: “This latest transformation reflects Glenfiddich’s living legacy as a British luxury icon while setting the scene for its next chapter.”

Quick whisky question

Single malt is everywhere, but what does it mean? We want to know what the word “single” means to you. Three quick questions, under a minute.

The new design draws inspiration from the brand’s packaging of the 1960s, a period when Glenfiddich helped establish the single malt Scotch category internationally.

A central element of the redesign is the iconic stag, which has been refined and is now framed by the distillery’s founding year of 1887.

Glenfiddich’s wordmark has also been reimagined with sans-serif typography, a nod to British type design and the brand’s logo from the 1960s.

Additionally, the Grant Family Crest has been elevated and embossed on the new packaging, featuring the motto “Stand Fast” to underscore the brand’s continuous family ownership.

The Speyside distillery remains one of the few major single malt distilleries to be entirely family-owned.

The brand confirmed that the liquid itself will remain unchanged, staying true to its distinctive house style.

“Innovation has always been part of Glenfiddich’s DNA,” commented Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich malt master. “The distillery was founded by people who weren’t afraid to take risks, and that spirit still guides us today.”

Kinsman continued: “It remains a driving force behind Glenfiddich’s status as the world’s most awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky.”

The brand’s “most awarded” claim is based on the number of medals received from the International Wine & Spirit Competition and the International Spirits Challenge since 2000.

“As Glenfiddich looks to the future with new cask finishes, maturation techniques and collaborations that challenge perceptions of single malt, the brand remains rooted in continuity, with deep respect for what has come before,” Kinsman stated.

The new visual identity was recently previewed as part of Glenfiddich’s global partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One Team, appearing on the team’s 2026 car.

The updated packaging for the Glenfiddich portfolio will be available in markets worldwide starting in April 2026.
