Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Formula One Team have launched a limited-edition single malt scotch whisky to celebrate their enduring partnership. The collaboration brings together two brands known for precision engineering and traditional craftsmanship.
The new release hit shelves in September 2025 with a retail price of $75.00. The 16-year-old expression comes from a marriage of American oak wine casks, new American barrels, and second-fill bourbon casks. Bottled at 43% alcohol by volume, the whisky features official tasting notes of maple syrup and caramelized ginger on the nose, with fresh fruit salad and sweet cream on the palate.

Glenfiddich 16 Year Old Marks Partnership Milestone
The limited-edition bottle represents the first product collaboration since the two companies announced their exclusive long-term partnership in November 2024. The alliance was unveiled at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, bringing together the Speyside distillery and the British racing team.
“This release marks an exciting milestone in our journey with the Aston Martin Formula One Team,” said Claudia Falcone, Glenfiddich Global Brand Director. “Through this collaboration we invite enthusiasts worldwide to engage with these iconic brands in bold new ways and create memorable moments that reach far beyond the racetrack.”
Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich Malt Master, described the whisky as combining craftsmanship and precision. He said that the Glenfidich 16 Year Old is “a whisky that invites exploration and discovery, much like the journey of our partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One Team. It’s a celebration of blending tradition with the thrill of innovation.”
According to official tasting notes, the finish offers sustained sweetness with a smooth character.
Aston Martin Formula One Team Celebrates Brand Alliance
The partnership connects two companies with deep roots in their respective industries. Glenfiddich, founded in 1887 in Dufftown, Scotland, claims the title of world’s most awarded Scotch whisky based on competitions since 2000. Aston Martin’s racing history dates to 1913, with Grand Prix participation beginning in 1922.
Jefferson Slack, Managing Director at Aston Martin Formula One Team, called the limited-edition bottling “a true symbol of craftsmanship and performance” that cements the relationship between the two brands.
The team returned to Formula One racing in 2021 and recently opened its AMR Technology Campus in Silverstone, featuring a cutting-edge wind tunnel that became operational in 2025.
The collaboration extends beyond product releases. Both companies emphasize innovation while respecting traditional methods in their respective fields.
The limited availability of the 16-year-old expression adds exclusivity to this first joint offering, with global distribution beginning in September 2025.
