Garrison Brothers Distillery, the first and oldest legal whiskey distillery in Texas, has teamed up with Tuff Shed, Inc. to design and build a custom "Backyard Bourbon Barn" at its Hye, Texas location. The partnership includes a national sweepstakes running through September 30, 2026, in which one winner will receive a fully finished bourbon barn delivered and installed at their home.

The 10-by-12-foot structure is based on Tuff Shed’s PRO Tall Ranch model. It features a clerestory roof, metal roofing, double doors with built-in transom windows, and a custom exterior paint scheme.

The interior was designed and built by the Garrison Brothers team to resemble a private Hill Country bourbon retreat. Finishes include barn wood siding, a six-foot bar, shelving, leather furniture, collectible memorabilia, and a custom LED sign.

"We’re fond of saying that Tuff Shed buildings have a million uses," said Phil Worth, VP of marketing at Tuff Shed, Inc. "Customers send us their photos of how they’ve transformed their Tuff Shed into a home office, home gym, craft studio, rec room, reading nook… you name it. So to partner with another great, long-standing company like Garrison Brothers on The Backyard Bourbon Barn seems like a natural fit."

The barn is now on display at the distillery in Hye, Texas. Visitors can step inside the finished space during tours and special events from mid-May through the end of September.

Garrison Brothers plans to host activations and collaborations inside the barn throughout the summer, with details to be announced via social media.

"The Garrison Brothers Tuff Shed Backyard Bourbon Barn is exactly the kind of partnership we love," said Rob Cordes, VP of marketing at Garrison Brothers Distillery. "It brings together Tuff Shed’s quality construction with the Garrison Brothers belief that anything worth doing is worth doing right. As two family-owned businesses, we’re proud to put our names on something made with this much care, craftsmanship, and character."

Eligible entrants must be legal residents of one of 46 participating U.S. states or Washington, D.C., and at least 21 years of age. The sweepstakes is void in Alaska, Hawaii, New York, Rhode Island, and Puerto Rico. The winner must be able to legally receive and install the structure at a residence in the contiguous United States.

Entry is available through in-store sweepstakes displays at participating liquor stores nationwide and online at garrisonbros.com/tuff-shed-giveaway.

Founded in 2006 by Dan and Nancy Garrison, Garrison Brothers was the first distillery outside of Kentucky to produce bourbon whiskey. The distillery currently offers nine expressions available nationwide and in five countries, with more than 800 awards to its name. Tuff Shed has designed and installed nearly two million buildings to date.
