Garrison Brothers & Duck Camp Team Up For Single Barrel Bourbon Release

Garrison Brothers Distillery has partnered with Texas outdoor apparel brand Duck Camp on a seasonal collaboration to mark the state’s duck hunting season. The tie-up will culminate in a distillery event on Saturday 31 October, featuring a limited-edition Single Barrel bourbon with a commemorative camouflage Duck Camp label, alongside exclusive co-branded merchandise.

Garrison Brothers is the first and oldest legal whiskey distillery in Texas. It was also the first distillery outside Kentucky to produce authentic, handcrafted, corn-to-cork bourbon whiskey. Only 200 bottles of the Duck Camp-labeled Garrison Brothers Single Barrel will be available at the event.

An additional 200 bottles will be released the same day through the Garrison Brothers e-commerce store.

The bourbon is bottled at 94 proof and will retail for $109.99 (£82).

The distillery event will run from 10am to 3pm on 31 October at 1827 Hye-Albert Road in Hye, Texas.

Duck Camp will be on site for giveaways and guest engagement, with live music, seasonal dishes and signature drinks. The Whiskey Shack and Gift Shop will be open throughout the day. As the event falls on Halloween, costumes are welcome.

“Duck Camp was born out of camaraderie and time well spent at camp,” said Grant Watson, VP of marketing at Duck Camp. “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Garrison Brothers, another Texas brand with a similar mission: bringing people together and creating lasting memories.”

Watson added: “We are looking forward to seeing the Duck Camp labelled bottle around campfires throughout hunting season.”

Rob Cordes, head marketing dude at Garrison Brothers Distillery, said the collaboration had been an enjoyable process for both companies. “Garrison Brothers is excited to host Duck Camp for this celebration on October 31,” Cordes said. “It has been fun to bring the Single Barrel release to life and collaborate as two Texas brands.”

Founded in the Texas Hill Country, Garrison Brothers has built its reputation on producing straight bourbon using locally sourced corn and aging its whiskey in the region’s extreme climate.

Gates will open at 10am on 31 October. Tours and further details on the event can be found via the Garrison Brothers distillery website.
