Brush Creek Distillery has released a special 2026 edition of its ‘Heroes Edition’ Straight Bourbon Whiskey to mark America’s 250th anniversary. The small-batch craft distillery, based on a working cattle ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming, announced the launch on 29 June 2026.

The ‘Heroes Edition’ first debuted in 2021. Historically, the distillery has released just one barrel of the bourbon each year.
For 2026, the team will release three barrels as part of its ongoing celebration of the American West and recognition of America’s 250th anniversary.
The release features a blend of Red Winter Wheat, Blue and White Corn straight bourbons, along with a dose of rye. The whiskeys range from six to 12 years of age.

Its mashbill consists of 54% Yellow Corn, 21% Rye, 7% Red Winter Wheat, 7% Blue Corn, 7% White Corn and 4% barley.
According to the official notes from the brand, the 2026 ‘Heroes Edition’ has a golden amber color with a warm mahogany hue. Hints of citrus zest, sweet biscuit, clove and baking spice lead into a palate layered with cinnamon roll, pecan pie, leather and oak.
Brush Creek Distillery has been craft distilling and blending since 2019. The property has served as a working cattle ranch since 1884, when settlers and loggers established homesteads in Saratoga.
The distillery sits on the 30,000-acre Farm at Brush Creek. Its spirits program draws on the property’s culinary and agricultural operations, including a 20,000-square-foot greenhouse, the Medicine Bow Creamery and a Wagyu program.
Located 35 miles from Interstate 80, the distillery offers public tours bookable on OpenTable.
The 2026 ‘Heroes Edition’ is available now at the distillery and the Brush Creek Ranch gift shop. From mid-July, bottles will be sold through Wyoming retailers and online via Bourbon Outfitter, with shipping to select states.
