recently introduced the fourth release of their Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, named after U.S. Senator John Sherman Cooper of Somerset, in Kentucky’s Pulaski County.
A statement from the whiskey maker noted that the John Sherman Cooper Release is aged eight years in oak barrels, and the bourbon clocks in at 107 proof. It’s made with a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley.
Kentucky Senator Spirits will distribute a total of a thousand bottles of this 2023 limited edition small batch, which will have a suggested retail price of $134.99.
