Woodford Reserve is celebrating its 30th anniversary with the launch of two limited-edition bottlings available exclusively at its distillery in Woodford County, Kentucky. The brand released the Distillery Series: Triple Pot Still today (7 October), followed by a ceramic decanter and personal selection on 16 October.
The milestone marks three decades since the super-premium American whiskey first entered the market.
The Distillery Series: Triple Pot Still features 100% whiskey distilled at Woodford Reserve through three copper pot stills. The method set the brand apart at launch, as it used pot stills rather than the column stills common across most American whiskey production.

The release is designed to showcase the robust flavor profile associated with the historic distillery site. It will retail at the distillery gift shop for $64.99 (£49).
The second release is a limited-edition ceramic decanter created exclusively by Louisville Stoneware. It is offered alongside a personal selection of Double Oaked Single Barrel, chosen by master distiller Elizabeth McCall.
Only 150 units are available, and the decanter can be purchased solely at the Woodford Reserve Distillery gift shop from 16 October.
Every Kirkland Bourbon Ranked, From Worst to Best
READ THE STORY“From the beginning of the brand, Woodford Reserve has enticed consumers by our unique bottle design and our flavorful liquid, featuring more than 200 flavor notes,” McCall said. “It’s now the top-selling super-premium American whiskey in the world and continues to grow, both in the United States and globally.”
McCall was appointed master distiller in February 2023, making her the third person and the first woman to hold the post in the brand’s history. She succeeded Chris Morris, who moved into a master distiller emeritus role.
Since its introduction in October 1996, Woodford Reserve has helped reshape the global whiskey landscape, elevating bourbon into the luxury spirits category by balancing traditional methods with modern innovation.
The brand is produced at the historic Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles. The site was renamed the Woodford Reserve Distillery in 2005 and is recognized as the oldest distillery in Kentucky, having been designated a National Historic Landmark in 2000.
