Tasting Notes

About:

100% malted barley, 80 proof (40% ABV).
Appearance:
Rich golden honey.
Nose:
The nose offers notes of grain, sea air, salt, and sweet hay with suggestions of honey raisin, citrus, buttery spice and oak.

Finish:
Comments:
This is an easy-going single malt that offers a smooth, slightly grainy bite on the palate that segues acceptably into a medium to long finish. There’s a hint of sea salt and dark chocolate on the mid palate. The flavor profile feels limited, yet is still nicely balanced for what it offers as it only just avoids leaning towards being overly sweet.
