Glendalough Distillery Shares Irish Pot Still Highball Cocktail Recipe In Time For Saint Patrick’s Day

Glendalough Distillery recently unveiled its Glendalough Pot Still Highball cocktail recipe (shared below) for those that are spending Saint Patrick’s Day at home this year. Made with Glendalough Pot Still Irish Whiskey, Glendalough is calling this the “greenest” cocktail imaginable. The drink has what’s described as notes of toasted oak and vanilla, and ties into the distillery’s larger commitment to sustainability.

The distillery is expanding its sustainability program by giving eco-conscious consumers the power to improve the environment through a purchase of Glendalough Pot Still Irish Whiskey. They committed to planting a native Irish Oak Tree in the mountains of Glenmalure, County Wicklow, Ireland, for every bottle purchased between Feb. 17 and March 31.

All customers have to do is register the unique code found on the promotional neck tag of their bottle of Glendalough Pot Still whiskey to redeem their tree. All the trees planted will be legally protected from being cut down at any stage in their life.

Glendalough Distillery is the winner of Ireland’s Most Sustainable Distillery by the Icons of Whiskey 2021. They partnered with Grown i.e., an Irish eco brand with a mission to restore and protect Irish woodlands.

The Glendalough Pot Still Highball cocktail recipe:
