Tasting Notes:

About:
£29.99 for a 12 pack. A multiple award winning brand of non-alcoholic cocktails, crafted for every day and easy use from the can or in a glass. The Nitro Sansgria – Sevilla Red is a combination of filtered water, sugar, red grape blend, bitter orange, raspberry, clove, quillaia, tartaric acid and black carrot colouring.
Appearance:
Pink Guinness (When poured into a glass)
Nose:
A welcome aroma of Sangria pours of the past. You get the orange and clove straight away, as well as the carrot – which I thought would be unpleasant but it isn’t. The grape is hiding away but after a few sips you o begin to smell it.
Palate:
The grape juice element is so front and centre on the first sip, it then starts to mingle around your senses. Super refreshing. The carrot is fairly dominant here, too. Again not unpleasant. It balances out the intensity of the clove and the bitter orange. Very cleverly blended together.
Finish:
Drying, but very gentle. The red grape blend is all over the finish, the carrot less so. Even the raspberry is now making it\’s way in, which is aiding the dryness feel a little tangier and more faux-alcohol driven.
Comments:
I like this one, too! If you\’re a Sangria fan then this has your name written all over it as a nice alternative to something laced with alcohol. From the can it tasted fine, but I found this one to work better when in a glass. Very attractive colour and head to it when it’s poured.
