Tasting Notes:

About:

£29.99 for a 12 pack. A multiple award winning brand of non-alcoholic cocktails, crafted for every day and easy use from the can or in a glass. Nitro – The Mockscow Mule: Scottish Lemonade contains: filtered water, lemon juice, sugar, citric acid, quillaia, ginger root and apple.

Appearance:
Ginger Beer
Nose:
Two of my favourite things to smell in the world, lemon and ginger. Any idea of alcohol is muted in anyway, unlike the Mockrita. This is so dominant with those wonderful summery aromas. I could smell that all day.
Palate:
Good sweetness to start off, not as dry or sour as you would think. The lemon comes across as sweet and almost crystalised, the ginger just providing enough gentle heat to warm that sugar through.
Finish:
A short but snappy finish with that lemon tang and ginger heat occupying your palate. This could honestly be sold as just a soda or soft drink, it is that delicious.
Comments:
As stated above, just put this on the shelf of every shop and watch it fly out! A delicious alcohol free alternative, but could also just be served on its own as a house soda or soft drink. Not the most complex of the range but by far my favourite.

Editor’s Note: This whiskey was either bought as a sample by The Whiskey Wash or provided to us as a review sample by the party behind it. Per our editorial policies, this in no way influenced the outcome of this review.
