Tasting Notes

About:

£29.99 for a 12 pack. A multiple award winning brand of non-alcoholic cocktails, crafted for every day and easy use from the can or in a glass. The Nitro Mockpolitan – Karma Sucra contains filtered water, sugar, cranberry juice, lime juice, juniper berry, bitter orange, quillaia, citric acid and safflower.

Appearance:
Cranberry Juice
Nose:
The cranberry and juniper are working very well together in this. Not flavours you would commonly think about as being quite unifying. The lime is lurking around the edges and providing you with some soft citrus punch. The orange gets a little lost in the grand scheme of it all.
Palate:
The juniper hit directly and lingers for a while, you have the appearance of gin lead flavour. However, incomes the orange, lime and cranberry! Between the three of them they provide some different avenues of style, but all culminate a very harmonious flavour.
Finish:
The finish reminds me of something in a bag of Haribo, although I can’t figure out what it is. Just something sweet and flavoured red. The juniper pops up again and is mingling with the lime and orange at the end. Cranberry is a particularly dominant flavour overall, adding to this gentle but dry, citrus finish.
Comments:
Cosmopolitans aren’t by go-to drink of choice in any occasion. This is the best one I’ve had and its lacking in any sort of alcohol, maybe this is the way forward for the Cosmo? It’s sweet, citrusy, slightly tart, fruit orientated and has a fairly nostalgic finish of Haribo. What more could you want?
