White & Blue Whisky Gets Major Packaging & Blend Redesign

Alcobrew Distilleries India Limited has announced a packaging redesign and blend refinement for White & Blue, its flagship semi-premium whisky brand launched in 2012. The rollout begins in Uttar Pradesh, with a phased regional expansion to follow.

The updated bottle features embossed branding on the sides and front, a taller silhouette with enhanced shoulder definition, and a straight-sided profile replacing the previous tapered bottom. A cleaner label design incorporates a bold new logo and velvet-touch finish.

Alongside the visual overhaul, Alcobrew has also refined the liquid itself. The official notes from the brand describe the new White & Blue as delivering “a smoother, more youthful initial note with gentle warmth and a cleaner finish.”

Ashutosh Rajput, COO of Alcobrew, said: “The refresh modernizes White & Blue’s visual identity and taste profile. It is Alcobrew’s first flagship brand in the semi-premium category that went on to become the fastest-growing millionaire brand within a short span of time.”

Rajput added: “Conceived as a dream project by our founder and CMD, Mr. Romesh Pandita, the brand has always stood for bold vision and innovation. The new packaging and refined blend further reinforce our philosophy of innovation-led product development, enabling us to remain relevant to evolving market trends and consumer preferences.”

The redesign represents the most significant packaging transformation for the brand since its original launch over a decade ago.

Alcobrew Distilleries India Limited is a New Delhi-based spirits company with a portfolio spanning whisky, vodka, rum, and brandy. The company operates across multiple Indian states and has built its reputation on value-driven brands targeting the country’s fast-growing spirits market.

India remains one of the world’s largest whisky markets by volume. The country’s semi-premium whisky segment has experienced sustained growth in recent years as rising disposable incomes and shifting consumer preferences drive demand for upgraded expressions from domestic producers.

White & Blue’s achievement of millionaire-brand status — selling more than one million cases annually — placed it among a competitive tier of Indian whisky brands vying for market share in an increasingly competitive landscape.

The phased expansion beyond Uttar Pradesh is expected to bring the refreshed White & Blue to additional key markets across India in the coming months.
