Larrikin Bourbon Company and Koala Bare Spirits have entered Florida through a statewide distribution partnership with Green Light Distribution. The brands are available immediately through independent retailers and ABC Fine Wine & Spirits locations across the state.
The Florida rollout takes Larrikin Bourbon to its 15th U.S. state as the Lawrenceburg, Kentucky-based company continues to build its national retail and distribution footprint.
“Florida is a bloody important market for us,” said Greg Keeley, founder and distiller of Larrikin Bourbon Company. “There’s a strong appetite for distinctive whiskey, premium spirits and brands with a bit of personality. Green Light understands how to build brands properly, and we’re excited to get Larrikin and Koala Bare onto shelves—and into glasses—across the state.”

READ THE STORYLarrikin Bourbon Company was founded by Australian-born U.S. Navy combat veteran Keeley. The distillery produces bourbon, rye whiskey and specialty spirits in Kentucky, while positioning the brand around its Australian heritage.
Koala Bare Spirits extends the same positioning into gin and other modern Australian-inspired spirits. The company said the brand focuses on “premium liquid, distinctive botanicals and just enough mischief to keep things interesting.”
Green Light Distribution is a statewide Florida distributor focused on beverage brand development, retailer relationships and market execution. Its partnership with Larrikin and Koala Bare will cover the full Florida market.
“Larrikin and Koala Bare bring something genuinely different to the Florida market,” said Jon Dickson, senior vice president of Green Light Distribution. “The quality is exceptional, the brands are memorable, and the team has a compelling story that connects with both retailers and consumers. We’re proud to represent them statewide and look forward to building a strong presence throughout Florida.”
The move gives Larrikin a foothold in one of the U.S.’s largest beverage alcohol markets, where national and regional spirits brands compete for shelf space across chains, independents and on-premise accounts.
The company is a member of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association and is listed as a destination on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Its expansion comes as American whiskey producers continue to seek broader distribution beyond their home markets.
“Fifteen states is a terrific milestone, but we’re nowhere near finished,” Keeley added. “Florida, you’re up. Let’s have a drink.”
