Jameson Introduces New Names And Updated Packing

Irish Distillers has announced a packaging redesign for its super-premium Jameson whiskeys, which includes renaming its Jameson Single Pot Still expression to Jameson Distiller’s Batch. The new bottles for both the renamed whiskey and Jameson Crested will begin rolling out in select markets in October 2025.

This move is the latest phase in a portfolio-wide brand update. The redesign initiative began with Jameson Black Barrel in 2024, followed by the core Jameson Original expression in July 2025.

The newly named Jameson Distiller’s Batch will feature the signature of Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman on its label. The single pot still liquid inside the bottle remains unchanged.

The updated packaging for Jameson Crested includes a more contemporary design with premium cues such as foiling and embossing.

“With a fresh new look for Jameson Distiller’s Batch and Jameson Crested, we are better able to tell the story of expertise in whiskey maturation and blending directly on the pack,” said Kevin O’Gorman, Midleton Distillery Master Distiller. “This very expertise has been honed over 200 years of excellence at Midleton.”

The company states the redesign aims to attract new consumers and encourage existing customers to explore the brand’s higher-end expressions.

Anna Kelly, Global Head of Marketing at Irish Distillers, commented on the commercial strategy.

“As we introduce more contemporary touches whilst maintaining the same quality liquid within, we broaden Jameson’s footprint in higher-end hospitality destinations and specialist retailers,” Kelly said. “We have a new opportunity to share our story with engaged whiskey drinkers and invite new consumers to discover Jameson.”

The initial launch will take place in Global Travel Retail, the Republic of Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

A wider global rollout, including the U.S. market, is scheduled for 2026.

Jameson is the world’s bestselling Irish whiskey, according to IWSR data cited by the company.
