The bottle wrap motif was designed to match McLaren’s 1000th Formula 1 Grand Prix celebration designs that will feature throughout the 2026 season.
“Jack Daniel’s and McLaren both possess a dedication to heritage, innovation and the pursuit of possibility,” said Mark Bacon, SVP, Global Managing Director of Jack Daniel’s. “This year’s limited edition bottle celebrates that shared legacy with a bold design that gives fans a premium way to celebrate the spirit of both brands.”
“This is a milestone year for McLaren as we look ahead to our 1000th Grand Prix in Miami,” said Nick Martin, Co-Chief Commercial Officer at McLaren Racing. “Our long-standing partnership with Jack Daniel’s is built on shared ambition, and this limited-edition bottle gives fans a special way to acknowledge this important chapter in our journey.”
The liquid uses Jack Daniel’s signature grain bill of 80% corn, 8% rye, and 12% malted barley. It is charcoal mellowed drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal before aging in new American white oak barrels.
At 86 proof, the bottling sits above the standard 80 proof of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7.
Official tasting notes from the brand describe “a fuller, more robust flavor with notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, finishing smooth and creamy.”
The expression will be available in both 700mL and 1L formats. The suggested retail price for the 1L bottle is $34.99.
Jack Daniel’s has served as an official partner of the McLaren Formula 1 team since 2023. The partnership sits within a broader trend of spirits brands aligning with motorsport to reach global audiences, with Formula 1’s fanbase continuing to expand significantly in recent years. Brown-Forman, the parent company of Jack Daniel’s, has increasingly leveraged sports partnerships to drive brand visibility across international markets.
McLaren’s 1000th Grand Prix will take place at the Miami Grand Prix during the 2026 season. The team will be hoping to continue its success from last year when Lando Norris took the title in the Driver’s World Championship. McLaren won the Constructors’ Championship in the same year.
