Heaven Hill Launches 2026 Grain to Glass Year of Wheat Bourbon Trio

Heaven Hill Distillery has revealed its 2026 Heaven Hill Grain to Glass lineup, a trio of limited-release wheated bourbons billed as the brand’s official “Year of Wheat.” Announced May 19, 2026, the collection includes a third-edition Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon, a French oak-matured specialty release, and a one-time extra-aged nine-year-old bottling, with shipping scheduled from May through November 2026.

The Bardstown, Kentucky-based producer said the releases aim to spotlight “wheated craftsmanship” and “seed-to-sip transparency” through its Grain to Glass program.

Molly Vincent, associate director of luxury whiskey at Heaven Hill, said: “In 2026, Heaven Hill Grain to Glass takes a more focused approach by centering exclusively on unique wheated mashbill offerings.”

Vincent added: “We’ve worked with wheat for a long time across our whiskeys, but this allows us to explore it more intentionally, how it softens, how it builds complexity over time, and how it ultimately shapes the character in the glass.”

The 2026 lineup uses a wheated mashbill of 52% corn, 35% wheat, and 13% malt across all three releases.

Heaven Hill said each corn seed varietal is “hand-selected” by master distiller Conor O’Driscoll in collaboration with Beck’s Hybrids, and grown by Peterson Farms in Nelson County, Kentucky.

The Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon (3rd Edition) was distilled in 2019 and aged six years in #3 char barrels. It is made from 170 barrels from Warehouses W5 and W6, bottled non-chill filtered at barrel proof (107.8 proof), and priced at $99.99 for a 700ml bottle, with shipping beginning in May 2026.

A second 2019-distilled release, Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Specialty Barrel Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Aged in French Oak Barrels, also draws from 170 barrels but is matured entirely in #3 char French oak for at least six years. Heaven Hill said it is “not a secondary finish,” and described “refined spice notes, dried fruit character and layered complexity,” bottled at 109.2 proof with an SRP of $129.99 (700ml), shipping in September 2026.

The Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Extra Aged 9-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon is a “ultra-limited, one time offering” distilled in 2017 and aged nine years. It comprises 150 barrels from Warehouse W3, will be bottled non-chill filtered at barrel proof (final proof “to be announced soon”), and carries an SRP of $149.99 (700ml), shipping in November 2026.

The releases also continue Heaven Hill’s Family Farms First initiative with Farm Rescue, with the company committing “up to $300,000 through 2028,” including “up to $100,000 annually” from a portion of sales.
