Heaven Hill Launches 2025 Grain to Glass Wheated Bourbon
Heaven Hill’s 2025 Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey features locally sourced grains from Nelson County, Kentucky and showcases detailed label artwork celebrating Kentucky’s farming heritage and distilling traditions.

Heaven Hill Distillery has released its 2025 Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey, a limited-edition expression showcasing the complete seed-to-bottle production process at America’s largest family-owned distillery.

Unique Wheated Bourbon Whiskey Mashbill

The 2025 edition distinguishes itself with a higher wheat content than Heaven Hill’s standard wheated bourbon recipe, comprising 35% wheat, 52% corn, and 13% malted barley. The distillery sources Beck’s 6225 corn and wheat from family-owned Peterson Farms in Nelson County, Kentucky, emphasizing local agricultural partnerships.

Aged for over six years at Heaven Hill’s Cox’s Creek rickhouse site, the bourbon is non-chill filtered and bottled at barrel proof of 106.6 proof (53.3% ABV). According to official tasting notes, the whiskey presents a burnished copper color with aromas of caramelized sugar, light vanilla, and sweet oak. The palate reveals vanilla and caramel interlaced with subtle floral notes of lavender and rose petals, while the finish offers toasted nuts, leather, and coffee tones.

“From selecting the Beck’s 6225 corn seed varietal to bottling at barrel proof, every choice reflects our mission to share the full story of how great whiskey is made,” said Conor O’Driscoll, Master Distiller at Heaven Hill Distillery.

Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Continues Award-Winning Legacy

The Grain to Glass series has garnered significant industry recognition, with the 2024 edition earning Best of Class finalist status at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Double Gold designation from the Spirits International Prestige (SIP) Awards. Over the past five years, across various awards, Heaven Hill itself has received Distiller of the Year honors eight times, including recognition from Whisky Magazine in 2024 and 2023.

The limited-edition 700ml bottles feature detailed label illustrations of Bernheim Distillery and artwork celebrating Kentucky farming traditions. Each bottle highlights the corn varietal, mashbill composition, distillation details, and release year. A portion of proceeds supports Farm Rescue, marking 20 years of the organization’s assistance to farming families in crisis.

Founded in 1935 by the Shapira family, Heaven Hill maintains over 2 million barrels aging across more than 70 warehouses in Nelson and Jefferson Counties. The distillery’s portfolio includes renowned brands such as Elijah Craig Bourbon, Evan Williams Bourbon, and Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond.

The 2025 Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey demonstrates Heaven Hill’s continued commitment to transparency and craftsmanship in American whiskey production, offering enthusiasts insight into the complete whiskey-making journey from grain selection to final bottling. The new release will be available across the US for a suggested retail price of $99.99.
