Harrison Ford fronts Glenmorangie Christmas social campaign in follow-up to Once Upon A Time in Scotland.
Harrison Ford has returned as the face of Glenmorangie Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a new festive social media spot released today. The Christmas message, featuring the actor in a Santa hat and kilt, builds on his role in the brand’s Once Upon a Time in Scotland campaign, which debuted in January 2025.

The new execution runs across Glenmorangie’s Instagram, YouTube and Facebook channels, as well as on the brand’s website, glenmorangie.com. It is positioned as a seasonal coda to Once Upon a Time in Scotland, the Joel Edgerton-directed series that followed Ford as he reluctantly filmed an advertisement for Glenmorangie before being won over by the whisky, its people and its craft.
The original campaign comprised 12 episodes and marked one of the most high-profile recent collaborations between a Hollywood actor and a single malt scotch brand. Ford’s festive message continues that narrative, aiming to keep Glenmorangie front of mind during the key year-end gifting and entertaining period.
Fans are directed to watch the Christmas content via @Glenmorangie on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, and to join the brand’s online community at glenmorangie.com/members for “exclusive access to new releases, news and events,” according to the company.
Glenmorangie positions its flagship expression, The Original, as the foundation of its portfolio. The brand describes The Original as its “source code – the single malt where all its whisky-making adventures begin,” first released more than 180 years ago and still “at the heart of everything Glenmorangie does.”
The distillery says it creates a delicate and fruity spirit in “Scotland’s tallest stills” before maturing The Original for 12 years in bourbon casks to develop “luscious layers of orange and honey, vanilla and bursts of peach.” Official notes from the brand list the color as bright gold, with an aroma of “citrus and ripening peaches” balanced by vanilla, and a taste where vanilla “emerges, then gives way to a burst of flowery fruitiness.”
Glenmorangie, owned by Moët Hennessy, has been making whisky in the Highlands for around 180 years and is led in whisky creation by Dr Bill Lumsden with a mission “to bring new flavours and possibilities to the world of single malt.”
