Texas-based Garrison Brothers Distillery has announced the return of its month-long cocktail initiative, with over 100 bars and restaurants participating across the United States to raise funds for military veterans.
The Hye Fashioned Takeover 2025 begins September 1, coinciding with Bourbon Heritage Month. The campaign encourages establishments nationwide to feature Old Fashioned cocktails made with Garrison Brothers bourbon while raising money for Boot Campaign, a nonprofit supporting veterans and military families.

More than 100 venues have committed to the initiative, including Jackson’s Bistro in Tampa, Alexander’s Steakhouse in Pasadena, and national chains Del Frisco’s Grille and III Forks. Participating locations span Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, and Texas.
“Hye Fashioned Takeover gets bigger and better every year, and we’re thrilled to see more bartenders, restaurants, and bourbon fans join the fun,” said Ciara Knee-Chavez, Director of Trade Marketing at Garrison Brothers Distillery. “At Garrison Brothers we love nothing more than bringing people together over great bourbon and giving back to those who’ve served our country.”
The distillery, established as Texas’s first legal whiskey producer, has organized special activations and unique Old Fashioned variations at participating venues. A complete list of locations updates weekly at hyefashioned.com.
Home Cocktail Kits Support Hye Fashioned Takeover Mission
To bring the celebrations to those who cannot attend an event in person, Garrison Brothers will offer direct-to-consumer cocktail kits starting September 1.
Each kit includes a 750ml bottle of Garrison Brothers Red, White & Bourbon Limited Edition Small Batch, cocktail ingredients, recipe cards, two rocks glasses, and branded merchandise. The kit produces up to twelve cocktails.
For every kit sold, the company will donate $25 to Boot Campaign. Additional fundraising occurs through social media engagement, with Garrison Brothers contributing $5 for each Instagram story featuring their Old Fashioned cocktails.
The campaign has raised over $35,000 for Boot Campaign since its 2023 inception.
Lindsey Lott, Vice President at Boot Campaign notes, “The best way to make a splash is to work together. We’re grateful to our friends at Garrison Brothers for their support and the way that they naturally build community. Their generosity reminds us of the power of coming together and we hope that Hye Fashioned Takeover fosters a sense of connection, camaraderie, and showing support for Veterans who have given so much.”
Participants sharing cocktail photos on Instagram automatically enter a sweepstakes for an Austin vacation package, including airfare for four, distillery tours, hotel accommodations, and concert tickets.
Boot Campaign Vice President Lindsey Lott emphasized the partnership’s impact on veteran support services. The organization provides individualized care programs for military families across the country.
National media partner Imbibe will provide coverage throughout September. The multi-platform publication specializes in beverage culture and industry coverage.
Garrison Brothers continues expanding its market presence while maintaining focus on veteran support initiatives. The distillery’s participation requirements and official rules are available at hyefashioned.com.
