Limited Edition Bourbon Sells Out on Texas Independence Day
On March 1, 2025, bourbon enthusiasts gathered at the Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas, to celebrate Texas Independence Day and the distillery’s 15th anniversary of bourbon sales. The highlight of the celebration was the release of 1,000 bottles of Balmorhea Cask Strength bourbon, with $50 from each sale designated for TPWF. The limited edition release sold out completely, raising valuable funds for conservation efforts across the state.
“Through our incredible partnerships and fundraisers, we help prove every day that good bourbon can change the world. Our continued partnership with Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation means so much to Garrison Brothers. We are thrilled to continue to support their programs that help keep Texas wild and beautiful,” said Dan Garrison, Co-founder of Garrison Brothers.
Conservation Partnership Enters Second Year
The donation was presented on May 1, 2025 by Garrison Brothers co-founders Dan and Nancy Garrison. The presentation marks the second consecutive year that Garrison Brothers has selected TPWF as the beneficiary of its Texas Independence Day celebration. The funds will support TPWF’s mission to conserve Texas’ lands, waters, and wildlife.
Anne Brown, TPWF Executive Director, expressed appreciation for the continued support, stating, “For the second year in a row, Garrison Brothers selected TPWF as the beneficiary of its Texas Independence Day celebration, and we greatly appreciate their dedication to conserving the state’s wildlife and beautiful lands with their generous support of our mission through the years.”
Since establishing Texas’ first legal bourbon distillery in 2006, Garrison Brothers has contributed millions of dollars to various charitable causes through Good Bourbon for a Good Cause, LLC, the company’s non-profit arm. The distillery’s community initiatives focus on supporting veterans, environmental conservation, local communities, and the hospitality industry.
