
Scottish television presenter Gail Porter joined whisky enthusiasts at the exclusive launch of One Cask at a Time’s debut collection, featuring rare single cask malts including a 27-year-old Highland Park and 33-year-old Aultmore.

The September 4th event at Gosford House in East Lothian brought together collectors, connoisseurs, and celebrities to sample the independent bottler’s first releases. Chef Tony Singh also attended the invitation-only gathering in the venue’s Marble Hall.
Whisky specialist Alwynne Gwilt led tastings of six cask strength expressions from One Cask at a Time’s premium range. The collection includes a Highland Park 27-year-old, Aultmore 33-year-old, and Ledaig 30-year-old, though prices have not been announced.

Guests also sampled bottles from the more accessible Chronograph and Pendulum series. These featured an 11-year-old Ben Nevis, 15-year-old Glentauchers and 26-year-old Auchentoshan. Attendees participated in a blind tasting to select the next Pendulum release, choosing a 2010 Jura aged in oloroso cask.
One Cask at a Time Launches Three-Tier Whisky Series
The new company structures its offerings across three collections: Chronograph, Pendulum, and Grandfather. Each targets different price points and collector preferences. All bottles are released at cask strength, meaning they are undiluted from their original alcohol content in the barrel.
The event featured performances by Olivier Award-winning dancer Theophilus O. Bailey and jazz singer Niki King. Luxury partners Bonhams and Walker Slater provided additional experiences, with Bonhams showcasing prestige watches and Walker Slater displaying Scottish tailoring.
