Frey Ranch Distillery has unveiled its 10-Year-Old Bourbon, Batch #1, the oldest age statement whiskey ever distilled and aged in the Nevada High Desert. The release launched via an online lottery on June 15, 2026, priced at $99.00, with bottles also available at the Fallon, Nevada distillery’s tasting room.

It carries the same mashbill as the distillery’s signature Four Grain Bourbon. The recipe comprises 66.6% non-GMO corn, 11.4% Canadian winter rye, 10% soft winter wheat and 12% two-row malted barley.

The whiskey is non-chill filtered and bottled at 102 proof.
Batches were distilled between January 2015 and April 2016. The spirit was laid down in #4 char barrels with #3 char barrel heads.
Frey Ranch is one of the only true farm-to-glass distilleries in the US. The four grains used in the bourbon are grown, harvested, milled and distilled on the Frey Ranch farm by Whiskey Farmer Colby Frey and his team.

The distillery credits Northern Nevada’s climate for accelerating maturation. Very cold winters combined with summer temperatures exceeding 100 degrees drive repeated barrel expansion and contraction.
According to the official notes from the brand, the bourbon offers aromas of caramelized sugar, milk chocolate and chocolate orange candy. The palate shows milk chocolate, cereal and baking spices, while the finish delivers honey, biscotti and lingering oak.
“Craft distilleries producing their own genuine 10-year-old whiskeys are still a rarity in this industry, making this milestone a meaningful achievement for our entire team,” said Colby Frey, co-founder and Whiskey Farmer at Frey Ranch.
“But age statements aside, every bottle of Frey Ranch Whiskey begins where it always has — with the high-quality grains we grow and harvest ourselves on the farm. When our fans invest in a bottle of Frey Ranch Whiskey, they’re investing in farmers.”
The online lottery is managed by EQL. It opens on Monday, June 15 at 10am PST and runs through Monday, June 22 at midnight, with a minimum of 500 bottles available. Winners will be announced on June 23.
Local fans in Fallon can buy additional bottles at the Frey Ranch Tasting Room.
Frey Ranch Distillery was founded in 2006 by Colby and Ashley Frey on the family’s 2,500-acre farm. The company joined the University of Kentucky’s Estate Whiskey Alliance in February 2025.
