Four Roses Distillery will launch its 2026 Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon on October 10. The 19th edition of the annual release is bottled at barrel strength and blends three of the Kentucky distillery’s bourbon recipes across four batches.

Non-chill filtered and bottled at 109.2 proof, the release combines four hand-selected batches aged 14 to 23 years.

The batches are chosen from the distillery’s 10 distinct bourbon recipes. This year’s blend features a 14-year-old OBSK, a 14-year-old OESK, a 15-year-old OESV, and a 23-year-old OESK.

READ THE STORY

“This has been an incredibly exciting year for Four Roses as we’ve explored new frontiers and introduced releases unlike anything we’ve done before,” said Brent Elliott, Four Roses master distiller. “Limited Edition Small Batch gives us a chance to return to a tradition we look forward to every year and celebrate the blending and craftsmanship at the heart of Four Roses.”

Elliott added: “This year’s release brings together four exceptional batches, each over a decade in age, showcasing just how much depth and character we can create from the recipes that make Four Roses so unique.”

According to the official notes from the brand, the bourbon opens with a nose of apricot and light, elegant oak.

The palate reveals layers of baking spice, honey and delicate wood tones. The finish lingers with fruit, vanilla and caramel.

Four Roses will release approximately 16,800 bottles at a suggested retail price of $249.

The bourbon will be available at select retailers nationwide and at the Four Roses Distillery Visitor Centers in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, from October 10, while supplies last.

Established in 1888, Four Roses combines two mashbills with five proprietary yeast strains to produce its 10 distinct bourbon recipes. The brand operates distilling facilities in Lawrenceburg and warehousing operations in Cox’s Creek, Kentucky.

The Limited Edition Small Batch is one of the brand’s most celebrated annual traditions, released each autumn as a barrel-strength blend drawn from its aged bourbon stocks.
