Scottish producer Eden Mill has launched a new dining experience called ‘Brunch at The Lookout’, hosted in the café/bar on the top floor of its Guardbridge distillery. The first brunch takes place on Saturday 7 November, with the £35 ($46) menu drawing on producers from along the Fife coast.

The menu features sourdough from Barnett’s in Anstruther, smoked fish from the East Neuk and free-range eggs from Blyths of Fife.

Guests begin with a hot drink, fresh juices and a plate from the grazing table, followed by a cooked main. Options range from thick-cut back bacon with butter-fried potatoes and spiced apple ketchup to a Scotch pancake stack with maple syrup. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available.

READ THE STORY

Steven Kersley, CEO of Eden Mill, said: “Brunch at The Lookout brings together two things we’re proud of: the estuary view from our bar, and the excellent producers on our doorstep.”

He added: “It’s a relaxed, indulgent way to start the weekend, and we can’t wait to welcome our first guests.”

Brunch at The Lookout will run on 7, 8, 28 and 29 November, as well as 4 and 5 December. Sittings take place from 11:30 to 13:00.

Menu and booking details are available at edenmill.com.

Eden Mill is based near St Andrews in Fife. The distillery occupies a restored site on the River Eden estuary, from which the top-floor bar takes its elevated outlook.

The brand was founded in 2012 and produces both gin and single malt Scotch whisky.

The launch of the brunch series reflects a wider trend among Scottish distilleries to broaden their appeal beyond spirits, using food-led experiences to draw visitors and showcase regional suppliers.

By leaning on local Fife producers, Eden Mill positions the new offering as both a hospitality draw and a celebration of its coastal surroundings.
