Cedar Ridge Distillery has released its 2026 Anniversary Edition Bourbon, the second expression in its limited-edition Anniversary series. The Iowa-based distillery created the whiskey to mark its 21st anniversary, with Master Blender Murphy Quint overseeing the blend.
The release builds on the debut Anniversary Edition, which launched in 2025.

Quint took Cedar Ridge’s Iowa Bourbon as the foundation for the expression. The bourbon is made from a mash bill of 74% corn, 14% rye and 12% malted barley.
He then finished the whiskey in five distinct cask types. These were Madeira, Napa Cabernet, Pedro Ximénez Sherry, Tawny Port and Tokaji casks.

"This year’s Anniversary Edition features some truly incredible cask-finished bourbons, including a few I’m working with for the first time," said Quint.
"I wanted to keep a similar foundation to last year’s release with sherry and Tokaji finishes, but I chose PX sherry to work with instead of my usual Amontillado," he added.

READ THE STORYQuint said two casks marked a departure for the blend. "The Madeira and Napa Cabernet casks are what really push this blend in a new direction," he explained.
The distillery said the release "explores Cedar Ridge’s diverse array of finishing casks." It positions the whiskey as one that "celebrates and highlights the distillery’s tradition of whiskey rooted in wine."
Quint pointed to the success of the previous edition. "The 2025 edition was our most popular release ever — I’m proud of how this one builds on that and excited for people to experience the 2026 version," he said.
The Anniversary Edition Bourbon is bottled at 112 proof. It carries a recommended retail price of US$64.99 (£48) per 750ml bottle.
The whiskey will be available at the Cedar Ridge Distillery in Swisher, Iowa. It will also be offered online via pre-sale and through select retailers.
Cedar Ridge Distillery was founded in 2005. It is the largest producer of whiskey in Iowa and known for maturing and finishing spirits in a range of wine casks.
