Budweiser, Silver Eagle Distributors Houston and the Houston Astros have donated $35,000 (£25,700) to the Folds of Honor Foundation. The presentation took place during pregame ceremonies at Daikin Park on Saturday July 4, 2026.
The donation coincided with America’s 250th birthday and Budweiser’s 150th year of brewing.
Marine Corps veteran Alfred Valdez, senior sales director for Silver Eagle Distributors Houston, led the on-field check presentation. He was joined by local Folds of Honor scholarship recipient Kenda Maurice Evans, along with Diane and John Nemecek of Folds of Honor.
