Altamura Vodka Expands to Asia with Hong Kong Launch
Altamura Distilleries enters Asia with Six Days Distro and Elire HK partnerships

Italian vodka brand Altamura Distilleries has launched in Asia through distribution agreements with Six Days Distro in Hong Kong and Elire HK for mainland China. The Puglia-based producer, known for its vodka made from 100% Italian durum wheat, will initially target premium on-trade venues across both markets.

Six Days Distro, the Hong Kong-based independent distributor, will handle the brand’s placement in cocktail bars, luxury hotels, and retail spaces throughout the city.

The boutique importer, headquartered in Sai Wan, specializes in craft spirits and has established connections within Hong Kong’s cocktail scene.

For mainland China, Shanghai-based Elire HK will manage distribution starting in Shanghai before expanding to Beijing, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou.

Elire focuses on luxury positioning and operates across international hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, and exclusive members’ clubs.

“Asia represents one of the most exciting growth opportunities for Altamura Distilleries,” said James Goggin of Altamura Distilleries.

“Hong Kong and Shanghai are global hubs for gastronomy, cocktails, and luxury culture, and we are delighted to partner with Six Days Distro and Elire HK.”

Altamura’s vodka is produced from durum wheat grown in the Altamura region of Puglia, the same grain used in the area’s DOP-certified bread.

The production process delivers what the brand describes as “a creamy mouthfeel, subtle nutty sweetness, and a long, elegant finish.”

Distribution has already been established in the US, Italy, UK, and more than 20 international markets.

The brand recently secured a sponsorship as the official vodka partner of The World’s 50 Best Hotels for 2025.

Asia’s premium spirits market has shown consistent growth, with China and Hong Kong serving as key entry points for international brands seeking to establish presence in the region.

Both markets have developed sophisticated cocktail cultures with consumers increasingly interested in provenance and craft production methods.
